It is a 'partnership' born out of both necessity and desire, to be successful and provide Gold Medal Service to our clients. Classic Lawn &  Landscape is a proud member of the Tyler Chamber of Commerce.

What you can expect from Classic Lawn & Landscape

Our motto 'We care for your lawn, like it's ours!' , is not just a catch phrase to get your attention. We take as much pride in your lawn and landscape as you do.  We take pride in what we do, and will do our work correctly not only the first time, but every time.

Our Primary Team

Our primary team is comprised of John Astrello, Gen. Manager; and his wife of 35 years - Judy Astrello, Landscape Manager/Architect. Duties and responsibilities are segmented and based upon the strengths and backgrounds of each individual.

  • John Astrello - General Manager (Certification as a Project Management Professional, PMP)

Operations, Marketing, Sales

  • Judy Astrello - Landscape Manager/Architect

Landscape Designer, Office Manager, Customer Service

  • Additional Team

We will be adding to both our permanent and seasonal teams, in the near future.

While our company is new, our experience stems from early 'roots' in the Houston area. John's first experiences of dealing with the Texas environment, came when his family moved from Syracuse, NY to Houston, TX.

'I have vivid memories of pulling St. Augustine 'runners' from a spot out in the woods, and transplanting them to my fathers new lawn in N. Houston. Little did I know then, that the next 40-50 years would be spent taking care of so many lawns and landscapes.'

Judy's experience blends in her fathers passion for gardening, along with her upbringing in the Carolinas - where her love of both the Smoky and Appalachian Mountains to this day influences her design outlook.

'My many trips to the mountains, were always highlighted by the flowering trees and plants (Rhododendrons, Dogwoods, Azaleas), and the beauty that comes from natural landscapes. I maintain those principles today, when designing landscapes/gardens for both my personal use and for our clients'.
