While our company is new, our experience stems from early 'roots' in the
Houston area. John's first experiences of dealing with the Texas environment,
came when his family moved from Syracuse, NY to Houston, TX.
'I have vivid memories of pulling St. Augustine 'runners' from a
spot out in the woods, and transplanting them to my fathers new lawn in N.
Houston. Little did I know then, that the next 40-50 years would be spent
taking care of so many lawns and landscapes.'
Judy's experience blends in her fathers passion for gardening, along with her
upbringing in the Carolinas - where her love of both the Smoky and Appalachian
Mountains to this day influences her design outlook.
'My many trips to the mountains, were always highlighted by the flowering
trees and plants (Rhododendrons, Dogwoods, Azaleas), and the beauty that
comes from natural landscapes. I maintain those principles today, when
designing landscapes/gardens for both my personal use and for our clients'.
